Set in Victorian England and told
over the span of many years, it centres
on Bathsheba Everdene (Mulligan), a
proud young woman whose arrival in
a small village triggers a love rivalry
that will shape the lives of her three
suitors and take Bathsheba on a hardwon journey of self discovery.
