Timed to coincide with the 50th anniversary of Gene Roddenberry’s beloved original show, this third film in the rebooted series (and the 13th Star Trek film overall), is everything we’ve come to expect from the franchise. There are thrills, spills, laughs and a terrific new villain in the form of Idris Elba’s Krall. The storyline sees forgetful fish Dory (once again voiced by Ellen DeGeneres) suddenly remembering that she has 29 JULY parents and swimming off to find them. Cue another epic under (and above) water adventure as her pals from the first outing – clownfish Marlin and his son Nemo – set out to search for her. Featuring some brilliant new characters including Hank the septopus and Destiny the whale shark, this epic adventure is sure to make a real splash.
