Watch the trailer Super Troopers 2 Quit Pratting around, Chris, those dinos aren’t going to save themselves! Watch the trailer Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom TBC When a volcanic eruption threatens the surviving dinos on Isla Nublar, Claire and Owen risk all to save them DIRECTOR J.A. Bayona starring Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt, Jeff Goldblum See it in IMAX and iSense When we last saw Chris Pratt’s Owen and Bryce Dallas Howard’s Claire they were fleeing Isla Nublar, having realised that dinosaurs don’t play well with others, 6 JUN especially not humans. Fallen Kingdom picks up Owen and Claire’s story four years later, with Claire now an activist working to protect the beasts. When a volcanic eruption threatens their safety, she persuades Owen to return to the island to rescue them. thy kingdom come on page 24 THE STORY SO FAR Brothers Zach and Gray are excited to visit Jurassic World, a dinosaur theme park situated on the same site as the original Jurassic Park. Their Aunt Claire is the park’s operations manager and has promised them VIP access to all the rides. In truth, this is just an excuse to keep them busy, as Claire has her hands full ensuring the pen of their newest attraction – the hybrid Indominus rex – is secure. But the beast escapes and Claire is forced to turn to old-flame Owen (a raptor researcher) for help. Together, they save the day... just! TBC “They’ve been waiting for a second chance!” DIRECTOR Jay Chandrasekhar starring Emmanuelle Chriqui, Rob Lowe, Lynda Carter Nearly two decades after the original, the Super Troopers are back – and this time they’re pitting their wits (well, what they have of them anyway) against their colleagues north of the border. Just like the first film, this daft-as-a-brush comedy drama stars and is written by the Broken Lizard comedy group; there’s Jay Chandrasekhar as Senior Trooper ‘Thorny’, Paul Soter as Trooper Jeff and Erik Stolhanske as Trooper Rabbit – each sporting a moustache that Freddie Mercury himself would have been proud of. Keener on pranks than upholding the law, these guys aren’t the sharpest tools in the shed, but when an international border dispute arises and they’re required to set up a new highway patrol section in Canada, they find themselves having to get their act together – or suffer the humiliation of being one-upped by their Canuck cousins. Expect bears, swearing, laugh-out-loud moments... oh yes, and Rob Lowe. 15 JUN odeon.co.uk 13 June
