In order to save her small
village, Moana (which means
‘sea’ in Maori) sets sail for
a fabled island. Joining her
on her epic adventure is
Maui – a shapeshifting
demigod who’s a little on
the vain side. Hilariously
played by Dwayne ‘The Rock’
Johnson, Maui is just one of
countless terrific characters
in this sea-sational tale
(Jemaine Clement’s villainous
50-foot coconut crab Tamatoa
is also a rib-tickling highlight).
A magical Disney adventure
that’s perfect for the little ones,
but stuffed with enough injokes and imagination to keep
bigger kids (i.e. adults) happy
