the brilliant Coraline , this delightful stopmotion animation – set in ancient Japan – sees a young boy named Kubo embarking on a lifechanging adventure .
The fun begins when a spirit from the past reignites a long-standing vendetta against Kubo ’ s family . In order to survive , the intrepid youngster must find a magical suit of armour once worn by his late warrior father . But there are all manner of vengeful gods and monsters on his trail .
With a lovely message at its heart , not to mention an all-star vocal cast that includes Charlize Theron ( as a talking monkey no less ), Matthew McConaughey , Rooney Mara , Ralph Fiennes and former Star Trek favourite George Takei , this is the perfect family film .

bittersweet drama starring the terrific Viggo Mortensen ( The Lord of the Rings trilogy ). Written and directed by Matt Ross ( best known , until now , for his acting ), Captain Fantastic introduces us to Ben , a devoted father of six who has chosen to shun society

and raise his kids as he sees fit deep in the forests of the Pacific Northwest . By day , they hunt and play . By night , they learn about quantum theory and sing songs .
When tragedy strikes , however , Ben and his brood are forced to re-enter civilisation ( via a bus named ‘ Steve ’) with funny , affecting and unexpected results .
