I actually purchased the book in preparation for the Mind Map Time Mastery workshop that I put on last week, but I didn’t even wind up using it. It was different than what I thought it was going to be but different turned out to be great as well! This book lays out a simple way to create a mindset scorecard that you can use to evaluate different life experiences and to also ‘guard’ whom you let into your life. If they don’t pass your scorecard, they don’t get in. Its such a simple concept that I wish I had thought of it. And she decided to accompany me out to my second annual Cali trip in which I was house sitting for one of my then client’s. That place, Laguna Niguel, is still one of my favorite places on the planet, but that’s not what this is about. Nope. I want to talk to you about estrogen. Coinciding with that trip, I was just coming off my first ever ‘round’ of testosterone usage. I had not a clue what I was really doing. But Dr. J said to come off after 10 weeks, so I did. What I didn’t expect was that when I came off, I would be, how shall I say this nicely, more effeminate than Devon. See, when a man goes on testosterone therapy, estrogen levels must rise too as the body is brilliant with its feedback loops. The body will strive to keep a balance between testosterone and estrogen levels. And, when you take ‘test’, your body will shut down its own natural production temporarily (feedback loop again). So when you stop, after a week or two, you have low test levels and high estrogen levels. That was me. I remember crying at anything that connected with my mammal brain. Devon was probably asking herself what kind of head case I was. I couldn’t help it. So I did what I do and I did a deep dive into the topic so this would never happen to me again (or you!). I realize that testosterone usage is still not as mainstream as I would like to see it. Which means you may be reading this and thinking, “This doesn’t apply to me, so let me move on.”
