WIP ’ s longstanding signature events include our annual Holiday Party , and the Annual Woman in Achievement luncheon in the spring where we present the Atlanta Bar Association ’ s Outstanding Woman in the Profession Award . This year , we are looking forward to broadening our calendar to include our inaugural Court Mixer ( a tennis / pickleball social with drop in drills and a reception to follow ), a Women ’ s Health Symposium with speakers and resources from our local health systems , and a Lawyers and Leashes pet and owner happy hour . Need CLE ? WIP has you covered . We offer CLE programs throughout the year to our membership including the upcoming Updates in Data Discovery CLE and Happy Hour at the Capital City Club in November and a professionalism CLE in the new year on “ Creating Financial Wellbeing : Helping You Navigate Your Relationship Around Money in Your Employment and Personal Relationships ”
In addition to supporting the Atlanta Bar Foundation through sponsorship and participation at events such as the Legal Runaround where our WIP Team consisted of section members , friends , family , leashed dogs , and strollers , and the Atlanta Bar Association as sponsors of the Friends , Family & Football Watch Party , this year we are partnering with many other sections of the Atlanta Bar Association . This includes our social with the Public Interest Law Section , a spring event in March with Solo Practitioner / Small Firm Section , and in April with Alternative Dispute Resolution Section .
This year , WIP is working with other voluntary bar associations through sponsorship of programs that further our mission such as the GAPABA ‘ s Women Leadership Network Dinner at the Buckhead Club on “ How women are changing the face of legal leadership ”
