Some of the most impactful contributions happen behind the scenes, and Chris Pennington is a perfect example. As one of the co-chairs of the MUSCLE Committee, Chris has played an important role in bringing this new committee to life. Not only was he the inspiration behind its creation, but he continues to go above and beyond in leading the group and supporting the association.
Whether that means arriving in the early morning hours or staying late into the evening, Chris does whatever it takes to ensure things get where they need to be and events begin smoothly. His willingness to jump in and find solutions was especially evident during our recent backpack drive. When the response was much greater than anticipated and we weren’t quite sure how we were going to get all of the backpacks delivered, Chris stepped up and made it happen. He had the backpacks delivered that same day—just one more example of his ability to see a need, find a solution, and get the job done.
We are incredibly grateful for Chris and all he does to support the association. His commitment and willingness to serve exemplify the spirit of teamwork and community that makes our organization strong.

COLORADO DREAM HUNTS
Great leaders don’t simply fill a role—they find ways to make it better. Over the past year, one AAMD leader has done exactly that, bringing fresh ideas, new energy, and a tremendous amount of enthusiasm to the organization’s education programs.
Since stepping into the role of EAC Chair, she has truly taken charge. With a focus on increasing awareness and participation, she has brought new ideas and a fresh perspective to AAMD’s educational offerings, always looking for ways to better serve members and strengthen the programs available to them. Whether developing new programs, supporting instructors, teaching a class, or taking on a new challenge, she is always looking for ways to grow and elevate AAMD’s education efforts.
Her leadership has made a meaningful impact, and her dedication has not gone unnoticed. She has embraced her role, taken initiative, and demonstrated a genuine commitment to helping AAMD and its members succeed.
