Angela Autumn
“ Electric Lizard”
Angela Autumn is a country folk artist from the Appalachian region of Pennsylvania. Blending her sound from roots of her small hometown, she soon brought her childhood stories and buried upbringing to the city of Nashville. She has received millions of views on social media, allowing her sound and traditions to be recognized, and she has been crowned“ The Rose of Appalachia.”
“ Electric Lizard” offers a whole new dimension of catchy, commanding almost compulsive repeat listens, and the hypnotic“ Jesus Heist” uses layered vocals like a bewitching incantation."- No Depression
" The Best of What’ s Next: After the viral success of“ Electric Lizard,” the Nashville singer-songwriter turns bluegrass jams, ecological grief, and her chosen family into an empathetic, cross-country portrait of home..."- Paste
" Autumn brings Appalachian music into the looseness and possibilities of contemporary indie music. Guitars chime and distort, rhythms shuffle, stop or fall away, cello darkens the edges, and songs sometimes seem to destabilise as they progress. Tradition remains integral, while the forms around it have opened considerably."- 13th Floor
