Pumpkin & Carrot Treats A seasonal , delicious , and nourishing snack !
Ingredients :
• 1 cup pureed pumpkin
• 1 / 2 cup grated carrots
• 1 1 / 2 cups whole wheat flour
• 1 / 4 cup canola or coconut oil
Directions :
1 ) Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper ..
2 ) In a large mixing bowl , combine the pureed pumpkin and grated carrots . Stir until well mixed .
3 ) Add the whole wheat flour , mixing until a thick dough forms . Add a little flour if the dough is too sticky .
4 ) Roll out dough into small , round balls and flatten them slightly with your hand .
5 ) Place the treats on parchment paper and bake for 20 - 25 minutes .
6 ) Allow treats to cool completely before serving .
7 ) Treats can be stored in airtight container at room temp for up to one week .
