SHYAMAL AND BHUMIKA: THE
RENAISSANCE MUSE
Bringing in grand bridal pieces, ‘The Renaissance
Muse’ by Shyamal and Bhumika unveiled
shararas, lehengas, blouses, saris, and jackets for
women and sherwanis, churidars, and kurtas for
men. The embroidery was rich with zardozi and
beading that was complemented by floral motifs
and cutwork. Colours played a riot on the ramp
with bright reds, wine reds, greys, and powder
blues moving into navy blues, olives, mints,
fennels, and emeralds, and finally almonds and
vintage creams.
Georgette and tulle brought the creations to
life, while asymmetric hemlines, cowl dresses,
peplum tops, and accented sleeves created a
party of sorts on the ramp.
