Amit Aggarwal’s collection, titled ‘Lumen’, had all the
creative intricacies of design that Aggarwal is known
for. The line was replete with tulle, lace organza,

that were in angular forms and patterns. The colour

petrol blue, purple, and plum to gold, blush, silver,

and ivory, along with neon hues. Womenswear r
was impressive with moulded Edwardian bustles,

while the bridal lehengas and saris, too, had
Amit’s signature stamp, not to mention the drapes

Menswear was ceremonial with jacquards, silks,

and handwoven fabrics, with geometric motifs and

Council of India’s India Couture Week
opened in New Delhi, and took place
from July 22 to 28, 2019, at Taj Palace,
