56TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
As per Clause 49 of the Constitution of the Association, the Managing Committee of the Association
has postponed the 56th Annual General Meeting of the Association from September 30, 2019 to
October 22, 2019 at 901, Naman Midtown, ‘A’ Wing, Behind Kamgar Kala Kendra, Senapati Bapat
Marg, Prabhadevi (West) Mumbai 400 013. The Revised Notice, along with the Agenda, has been sent
to all Members of the Association on September 28, 2019 and the Audited Statement of Accounts,
Balance Sheet and Statement of Accounts for the Financial Year 2018–19 on October 12, 2019.
CMAI’S IVY LEAGUE MEETING
The 23rd Meeting of ‘CMAI’s IVY League’ was held on September 24, 2019 at Blue Sea Banquets,
Worli Sea Face, Mumbai 400 030.
A Half-Day Workshop was Organised and the Topic for Discussion was ‘Creative Ways to Meet
Challenging Times’. The Workshop was conducted by Dr Pavan Soni, PhD in Corporate Strategy &
Policy from IIM Bangalore.
The Presentation/Discussion was followed by a Q&A Session for the Benefit of the Members. 74
Members attended the Workshop, which was followed by Dinner. IVY League Members appreciated
the initiative of the Association.
70TH NATIONAL GARMENT FAIR
We are glad to inform you that the Association will be organising the 70th National Garment Fair
on January 29 and 30, 2020 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, NSE Complex, Goregaon (East), Mumbai
400 063.
The Booking of Stalls commenced on Monday, October 7, 2019. All Applications would be accepted
on First-come, First-served basis, Subject to availability of the Size of Stalls. The Last Date for
accepting the Booking of Stalls is Monday, December 23, 2019, Subject to availability of Stalls.
PARTICIPATION IN THE 70TH NATIONAL GARMENT FAIR IS OPEN ONLY TO
CMAI MEMBERS.
ALL STALLS WILL BE SHELL SCHEME ONLY AND NO BARE SPACE WILL BE ALLOTED.
LIMITED DECORATION WILL BE PERMITTED IN THIS FAIR.
The Fair Sub-Committee has once again decided that all Members who Participate in the 70th National
Garment Fair in January 2020 will get Preference to Book their Stall Requirement for the 71st National
Garment Fair, to be held in July 2020 in Mumbai.
Application Forms stating the Size of the Stalls and the Participation Charges have been sent by
Courier to all Members of the Association and the same has also been Uploaded on the Website of the
Association: www.cmai.in
The Draw of Lot for Allotment of Stalls is Proposed to be held in the first week of January 2020 in
Mumbai. The exact Venue and Time will be intimated to the Exhibitors directly by the Association at a
later Date.
Members who are interested to Participate in the 70th National Garment Fair are requested to send
their Application Form duly filled in with all the required Details to the Office of the Association.
