SKF TF Hubcaps with Splashguard technology is a contaminant exclusion system that provides
extra splash protection. The Splashguard protects the wheel end from water ingestion caused
by high pressure washer sprays and submersion.

and a body manufactured from
DuPont’s Zytel, SKF TF Hubcaps
resist impact damage, weather, chemicals,
road salt, UV radiati on, and ozone.
The various styles of SKF hubcaps - oilbath, grease-packed designs, stamped
steel, tamper-proof, Lexan and PSI
- are compatible with all popular
lubricants, including the latest
synthetics. SKF TF hubcaps are
approved by all major OE truck
and trailer manufacturers, with a
growing number installing them
as standard equipment.
The SKF Splashguard features
an exclusion technology with
multiple barriers to protect wheel
end components from outside
contamination. The design
includes a hard outer shell; a
pressure sensitive vent and an
extended surface for added
coverage between the window
and plug for better sealing. It also
features side tabs for easy removal.
The hard shell resists power
washing and road debris, while
a multiple labyrinth prevents
contaminants from reaching the
wheel end. Side tabs allow for easy
removal.
The extended surface adds coverage
between window and plug for better
sealing properties, while a pressure
sensitive vent remains closed, unless
releasing pressure, thus eliminating an
entry path for contaminants.
It is perfectly possible to retrofit and
upgrade existing SKF TF hubcap with
Splashguard technology. The upgraded
plugs are available in handy four pack bags
with a hole punch that can be hung from
a display peg. Order can be placed in four
piece quantities.
SKF Splashguards are conveniently
packaged in groups of four and
sealed in 8-1/2” x 6” plastic bags.
They are available in green and
