Meeting was called to order by President Lynn-Ellen St . Martin at 7:20 PM Public Open Comment : None
Secretary ’ s Report : Leslie Mason Motion made by Julie Gintner , seconded by Ann Goebel to approve the July 12 , 2023 , Board Meeting Minutes . Motion carried unanimously .
Treasurer ’ s Report : Arlene Bayer

Balance Sheet and Income Statement was presented , YTD Net Income ( Loss ) is $ 15,864.51 and LYTD Net Income ( Loss ) was ($ 62,895.49 ). Motion made by Lori Taylor , seconded by Julia Northwick , to accept the Treasurer ’ s Report subject to audit from August 8th , 2023 . Motion carried unanimously .
Correspondence : Received late membership requests from Golden Rose Saddle Club , Nicollet Raiders , Indianhead Saddle Club , Hollywood Riders , Mankato Saddle Club , Island Riders , Scandia Riders , Double Bit Riders , Murray County Horse Assoc ., Scooten Rose .
Committee Reports :
Championship Horse Show : James Duenow All but coliseum box 8 is sold out . Lined up a vet for Champ Show , it will be Katie Stewart from Stillwater Vet . Vendors are continuing to come in . Have been getting in entries , compared to last year have received 25 % more . There is added money to the jackpot classes . Exhibitors can show more than 1 horse in the pattern classes .
Computer : Jake Flodquist Absent . Non-data form for Champ Show has been submitted to State Fair . Same amount of data and number of monitors as in the past . Setting up a meeting with the State Fair to go over the software and changes they have made .
Drills and Squares : Marlys Mooney Absent . Will be talking to Sam at the State Fair and working out the details when Wright and Flying E ’ s will be riding in the Sunday shows at the Fair .
Futurity : Renee Lee Absent . Lynn sent the Judges schedule to the Futurity Committee , so they can look for Judges for the Futurity . Halters are done for the awards . Would like someone from the Futurity Committee to come to the next meeting or schedule a meeting prior to Champ Show .
Historian : Tim Wampfler Absent . Nothing to report .
