therapy within the multi-disciplinary and multi-agency context. You
will lead development of early identification and intervention pathways
for children with impairments resulting in complex disabilities; deliver
prudent care which supports individuals and communities to manage
the occupational needs and build life long resilience to sustain
healthcare; work with the occupational therapy team to develop the
practice and evidence base for delivery of care and support; support
professional development across the workforce. This will support
delivery of innovative care, framed within the principles of Care Aims
and aligns with the requirements for robust evidence based advice,
information and training and prevention and early intervention set out in
the Additional Learning Needs and Tribunal Act (Wales), Social Services
and Wellbeing Act (Wales) and Wellbeing of Future Generations Act

To strengthen our teams across ASC, we are now seeking one Senior
Occupational Therapist (SOT) and three qualified and experienced
Occupational Therapists (OT). Two of the OT posts are in the Complex
team and one post is in the Review team.
These posts offer an exceptional opportunity to participate in projects
to develop skills e.g. single-handed care. The OT service is going
through a change to incorporate best practice in its service delivery. A
strong emphasis on quality of service and a strength - based approach
is the cornerstone of our OT practice.
The post holders are required to be passionate about improving the
lives of their customers.
You need to have a minimum of one year’s experience for the OT posts in
any area of OT practice e.g. major adaptations and moving and handling.
