RECRUITMENT CRESSEY COLLEGE Occupational Therapist We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic Occupational Therapist that is interested in growing and developing their professional skills. The successful candidate will join our expanding multidisciplinary team and will be responsible for conducting assessments, providing appropriate interventions, devising and supervising programmes and delivering trainings to the staff. The post holder will also identify equipment and resources required for the delivery of the OT service within the establishment, which includes three well-equipped OT rooms. Our students have complex needs related to their Social, Emotional and Attachment difficulties. We have a deep experience of succeeding with such children, often for the first time. The post holder will need to be qualified in Occupational Therapy, HCPC registered, RCOT member and ideally, trained in Sensory Integration with experience in working with Children Young People and Families. Additional training in SCERTS, Intensive Interaction, Emotional Coaching and/or other relevant approaches would be preferable. Minimum paediatric experience 2 years, experience of working in Special School environment and with children and families that have experienced trauma and attachment difficulties preferrable.
