We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and self-motivated
Occupational Therapist to join our strong team of OTs, OTAs
and support staff.
With good communication and IT skills and a commitment
towards Continued Professional Development, you will be
responsible for assessing the needs of disabled children and
adults and making recommendations for the provision of
specialist equipment and minor/major adaptations to enable
disabled people to live independent lifestyles. You will work
directly with other Social Care colleagues and professionals
from other partner agencies such as Health and Housing.
With a degree/diploma in Occupational Therapy, state
registration with the Health & Care Professions Council
(HCPC), post qualification experience in a clinical setting and
preferably some experience in Social or Community Care, you
will carry an active caseload of service users with eligible
needs. Professional support, advice and supervision will be
readily available and you will contribute to promoting the
Occupational Therapy service. A Business Mileage allowance
is allocated to this post.
