This two-day OCN London accredited course provides
competence and confidence to enable staff to assess for, prescribe
and install (simple aids of daily living) equipment. Our training was
developed with funding from the Office for Disability Issues. We are
able to offer training to groups from our Dorset or London venue,
or at your venues around the country. Venue: The Bridge,

This year's RCOT Roadshow will update attendees on RCOT's
research and development strategy, campaign reports and
resources, advancing practice, generalist and specialist approaches
to occupational therapy. We discuss the campaign Small Change,
Big Impact and how attendees can work together locally to raise

Advanced study day on chronic pain management

Lecturer: Dr Aftab Laher. Areas to be covered: advances in the
understanding of pain neurophysiology and how we can explain pain
to patients; developments in the cognitive-behavioural and
motivational approaches to chronic pain; what should we be
assessing and how?; and developing an evidence-based chronic
