Salary: £42,313 – £48,515 per annum
Manchester Occupational Therapy Services is a private occupational therapy
practice based in Urmston, Manchester. Due to our expanding client base we are
excited to recruit a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to work as part of our team.
Specialist Occupational Therapist (Equivalent to Band 6)
Salary: £34,961 – £42,010 per annum
Due to expansion of our team at The Children’s Trust School we have a
number of exciting opportunities for Occupational Therapists, with varying
experience, to join our dynamic and innovative team.
The Therapy Team have adopted an integrated and tiered model of working,
offering training, assessment and intervention at universal, targeted and
specialist levels within our classrooms and residential houses. You will
provide a high quality, evidence based occupational therapy services for
children and young people with neurodisabilities. The service offers generous
CPD support and a range of opportunities to be involved in audit, research
and service evaluation.
The Children’s Trust School aims to provide high quality education and
expertise to meet each pupil’s individual special needs and to celebrate all
achievements in a happy environment. As a non-maintained special school,
we pride ourselves on seeing each individual as a ‘whole’ and delivering
integrated, holistic education, therapy and care for pupils with profound and
multiple learning disabilities. We provide day and residential education for
pupils aged 2-19 years old, with an on-site nursery provision.

Closing Date: Wednesday, 28th April 2019
The successful candidate must be HCPC Registered with a minimum of 3 years’
paediatric experience. A minimum Level 1 SI qualification is also required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for holding their own case load,
providing occupational therapy assessments and treatment for children who
have a range of conditions which may include cerebral palsy, downs syndrome,
head injuries, muscular dystrophy, developmental delay, DCD, autism, sensory
processing difficulties, ADHD, fine motor and perceptual difficulties.
The post may also include providing specialist equipment and adaptation
assessments and recommendations as required.
A dedicated clinic and office space is available for appointments and
administration for all staff.
