In Indonesia , helped implement counseling centers for girls in colleges in rural areas across the country ; and has kept the case of Mary Jane Veloso , a victim of human trafficking , alive .
The OBR Indonesia freedom campaign also gave Malayan people ( Indigenous community ) self determination to decide what kind of crops to grow without the intervention of the “ landlords ” which have dominated the lives of farmers in rural areas . The campaign gave them the will to demand and return to a communal way of working , and not dependent on global market mechanisms of which they have been forced into for decades .
In Namibia , formed a coalition to rise against fracking and extraction of oil and gas from the Okavango Delta .
In 2024 the community of Otjiwarongo took ownership of the campaign as not many campaigns of this nature ever take place in the region . The town ’ s local authorities became very involved in planning the rising , and have committed to partnering for more risings in the wider region .
In Malawi , implemented the Land Law where women are now able to register their land and do joint registrations if they are married .
In Hong Kong , won many cases for domestic workers : Erwiana won the case against her abusive employer ; an annual increase in salaries for domestic workers was won ; successfully banned window cleaning that puts domestic workers lives in peril ( HK buildings go up 40 stories and above ); closed down exploitative agencies for foreign domestic workers .
In Nigeria , leveraged locally the international efforts on the # EndSars campaign – giving voice , visibility , protection and influence to local activists at risk .
In Gabon , created a National Observatory for Women ’ s Rights – and created initiatives for schools and communities to make protection of pupils a top priority .
