Accessibility Recommendations for Specific Art Modalities

Review event guidelines

Use alternatives like smooth color changes , light fades , or displaying messages / symbols on screens . Highcontrast bold text and patterns are effective .

Ensure lighting is comfortable for those with light sensitivity .

Ask participants about their access needs and the movements they feel comfortable / safe performing .
Use props for movement representation
Incorporate items like chairs , canes , or ribbons to help participants represent movements they may find difficult to perform .
