Now , I am 13 Too old for playgrounds But every once in a while I glance through the fence and see The tire swing has run its course The slide rusty from neglect The sandbox deserted , no orphaned toys And strangest of all The bathroom is quiet Eerily vacant
The soap bombs have been detonated Though I long for one more battle
