We got a chance to catch the Coach after practice Conference with Coach Nizoki as they prepare for the Seahawks.
Reporter#1: Coach how do you feel with your team being 4-0 ?
Coach: I’m feeling proud and confident of my team after the 5-0 start. I don’t believe the Arizona Cardinals in history have ever had this kind of start to the season, but sadly it doesn’t mean a thing if I don’t make it to the playoffs or win it all. I have to keep the momentum going, and believe that if my team plays smart, fast and with a little bit of luck, I can keep this rolling. After week 5, only 3 unbeaten teams remain, Texans, Bills and Cardinals. Let the 16-0 talk begin!
Reporter#2: The 49ERS and Seattle have always dominated this division. What most concerns you most about these 2 teams ?
Coach: I would say what concerns me about both teams would be the defense. The 49ers have always had a stout defense behind Patrick Willis and Aldon Smith and not yet playing them, I am unsure about how to play them. The Seattle Seahawks it comes down to one word “corners”. Brandon Browner and Richard Sherman both at 6’4 are a hassle, and sometimes even Larry Fitzgerald gets locked down. I know the Seahawks owner from a previous league (in which ironically he is the Cardinals) so I know how he plays, but the 49ers I have no clue. I have heard great things about him from other owners and all I know is you can never count out the 49ers with all the weapons on both offense and defense.
Reporter#3: This being your first year in to the league did you feel the Arizona Cardinals already had a great core foundation in place to build from ? From you point of view was the QB the weakest part of this team coming in and getting ready for FA and the Draft ?
