DAY 1 • Depart U. S. Fly from the U. S. to Valletta, Malta.
DAY 2 • Valletta, Malta Arrive in Valletta, Malta, and meet with fellow travelers who took The Maltese Archipelago pre-trip extension. Meals: D | Grand Hotel Excelsior or similar
DAY 3 • Valletta • Embark ship We’ ll check out of our hotel this morning and embark our ship, home for the next 15 nights.

DAY 4 • Valletta • Conversation about Daphne Caruana Enjoy a walking tour of Malta’ s historic capital of Valletta. Later, sit down for a discussion about late journalist Daphne Caruana, allegedly targeted and killed by the Maltese government. Meals: B, L, D | M / V Corinthian or M / V Clio
DAY 5 • Trapani, Sicily Set out to discover the UNESCO-protected city of Mazara on a walking tour of the Kasbah quarter followed by a visit to the Museum of the Dancing Satyr. Later, enjoy the chance to meet with local women and sit down for tea. Meals: B, L, D | M / V Corinthian or M / V Clio
DAY 6 • Tunis, Tunisia Anchor in Tunis, where we’ ll pay our respects at a cemetery for World War II veterans. After, visit the picturesque coastal town of Sidi Bou Said. This afternoon, drive to the UNESCOlisted medina quarter of Tunis, where we’ ll witness the hundreds of palaces, mosques, and fountains. Meals: B, L, D | M / V Corinthian or M / V Clio
DAY 7 • Day at sea Today we will cruise from Tunis to Algiers. Meals: B, L, D | M / V Corinthian or M / V Clio
DAY 8 • Algiers, Algeria Explore Algeria’ s capital of Algiers, known for its whitewashed buildings and centuriesold mosques. Stroll through La Kasbah( the historic quarter), visit the Martyrs Monument, and walk along the coastline toward the distinctive parliament building. Meals: B, L, D | M / V Corinthian or M / V Clio
DAY 9 • Oran Visit the Algerian port city of Oran, including the hilltop Chapel of Santa Cruz, which features a soaring tower punctuated by a statue of the Virgin Mary. Meals: B, L, D | M / V Corinthian or M / V Clio
DAY 10 • Day at sea Today we’ ll cruise from Oran to Tangier. Take this time to enjoy the ship’ s amenities. Meals: B, L, D | M / V Corinthian or M / V Clio
DAY 11 • Tangier, Morocco Get to know the Moroccan port of Tangier, with visits to the promontory of Cap Spartel, the Hercules Caves, and the historic kasbah. Later, we’ ll stroll through the bustling Grand Socco square, where you’ ll explore a traditional souk( market).

DAY 12 • Tangier • A Day in the Life of a Moroccan village • Home-Hosted Lunch Spend A Day in the Life of a Moroccan village nestled just outside of Tangier. During our time here, we’ ll explore our host family’ s farm, help them with daily chores, and enjoy a Home-Hosted Lunch together.
