DAY 10 • Antarctic Circle crossing Your Antarctic discoveries continue today as you press ever southward toward the Antarctic Circle . DAY 12 • Antarctic Circle crossing If it is safe to do so , you ’ ll see what lies beyond the Antarctic Circle today . You may have the chance
to explore Detaille Island and the simple cabin the explorers left behind .

DAY 13 • Antarctic Peninsula Region You may have an opportunity to explore the Antarctic Peninsula itself . Perhaps you ’ ll happen upon “ penguin highways ,” or flocks of skua and snowy sheathbills swirling overhead .

DAY 14 • Antarctic Peninsula Region As your ship cruises , you might witness cloudpiercing mountain peaks , fur seals relaxing on floating ice blocks , and Adélie penguins diving into the water on the hunt for fish .
