Tring MuseUm
Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 went to Tring Museum
We were split up into groups and we went to look at different things like stuffed animals and lots more.
Allah’s Creation: At Tring Museum when I saw the animals I said to myself, MashaAllah look at Allah’s creation. I also thought to myself what if we didn’t have these animals like cows. We would not have any milk. We should be grateful to Allah for these animals.
The Workshop: At Tring we had the opportunity to attend a workshop. A lady showed us some stuffed animals. We had to think of where the animals lived, what it ate and lots more. We got to see different animals like a mole. When my group got the mole we had to think how the mole kept warm. Our group thought that the mole had a thick coat to keep itself warm.
My Best Part of the Visit: My best part was when we were near the dog area. I liked the dog area because there was a video about how the Tring people stuff the animals on display. It was really interesting to learn how they stuff animals.
Our Final Task: Towards the end of the day we were given a task by our teacher to draw a picture of an animal and write some facts about it. There were different stuffed animals but I chose to draw a spaniel dog and I wrote whether it was male or female, its country of origin, and age.
