Years 3 & 4
Church Visit
Years 3 and 4 visited a Church. "We found the statues interesting and we saw a baby doll get baptised" (TC). "We sat down and the priest showed us where he gives his talks on the Christian's special day (Sundays) - it's called a pulpit" (AL).
"I lit the candle with a special instrument and when I finished, the priest, David, asked me to cover the wax to light out the fire" (ZM).
Natural Science Museum
To infuse more enthusiasm and curiosity in Science, Years 3 and 4 recently visited the London Science Museum. Here's what they had to say:
"The science museum was an amazing experience, I loved the show and learning about electricity" (YK). "Seeing dust being made out of thin air really excited me! I couldn't stop making lots of dust and then watching it vanish into thin air!" (HM). "I really enjoyed exploring the WanderLab,. There was so much to do. My favorite part was the slide!" (AH).
