The Lombard Fire Department’s 17th annual Toy Drive kicks off
Monday, Nov. 27 and will end Dec. 9 with a Toy Parade on Main
Street, from St. Charles to Wilson.
Fox River Trolley Museum, 365 S. LaFox (Route 31): Chris Van
Allsburg’s book comes to life when the train pulls out of the
station with your family on board! Santa will board the train,
greet each child and hand them their own small gift. There will
be caroling, sing-alongs with professional musicians, cookies
and hot chocolate!

sociation in honor of a 7-year-old local boy named Henry Betts,
who was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy as an infant.

park district’s FREE monthly book club. We will read a selection

the holiday season.
Jumps n’ Jiggles, 1000 Wellington Ave, : Bah Humbug, everyone
celebrates Santa this time of year and they forget about me,
your favorite green character whose heart is too small. Come
to the Carousel for an evening of play and activities. Partici-
pants will receive a souvenir tote bag with a special treat and
giveaway. Parents must attend this event with their child(ren).
Registration is required before the event. Register in person at
the Pavilion or the Al Hattendorf Center. Online registration is
available with a valid Elk Grove Park District account. Space is
limited so early registration is encouraged. Fee: $7 R / $9 NR.

show for kids with autism spectrum disorders, sensory process-
ing issues or who are differently abled. Program includes inter-
