Round Lake Area Park District, 814 Hart Road: Between the
ages of 3-6 your child is gaining much more control over their
body movements. Your child’s rhythm and balance, along with
their large motor skills will be enhanced through the use of
this class’ music, props, and activities. This class will help build
strength, control and fluidity.
Wonder Works Children’s Museum, 6445 W. North Ave.: Join Lu-
cia our sewing master, in the art room every Thursday to learn
all about the basics of sewing! These hands on projects are the
perfect introduction to sewing for kids 3 and up. Made possible
by the Oak Park Arts Council.

and play, teaching kids about Dinosaurs and the world they
lived in (Ours!!).

Sensory experiences are incredibly important for all babies and

Thursdays anytime between 2 and 4 for coffee or tea, conversa-
tions with other parents, and the knowledge that your children
can’t lead you on a mad dash through the library because the
program room doors are blissfully closed. Make new friends
or just enjoy not needing to follow your two year old as they
discover that they can run really fast while the kids listen to a
story, color, or do some fun crafts.
