Fonts

Typography is the art and technique of arranging type to make written language readable and appealing when displayed . Font refers to a particular weight , width , and style within a typeface , and each variation of a typeface is a font . For example , if Helvetica Neue is the typeface chosen for a project , the font used might be Helvetica Neue Regular 9 point .
Avenir Next , Helvectica Neue , and Arial are the approved NYBCe typefaces that should be used for all correspondence and marketing / promotional collateral . These are the only typefaces employees should use to maintain brand consistency across the organization . The correct weight of each font should be carefully considered for each application to ensure maximum legibility .
