SHELTER CARE WIRING
Electrical apprentices install
wiring for new adolescent
shelter building.
Brown County Shelter Care now has
more space to help children in need.
NWTC Electrical apprentices helped out
recently at Brown County Shelter Care.
The students trenched and installed the
electrical work for the new garage that was
built to store the resident’s belongings.
The primary mission of Brown County
Shelter Care is to serve the community
by strengthening youth and families,
they accomplish this by providing youth
with quality shelter care. Shelter Care
is a non-secure facility owned and
operated through Brown County and
licensed through the State of Wisconsin.
Residents range in age from 10-17 years
Our group provided the material and
wiring of the garage and storage area.
It was a great experience for the students.
