A law of�ce administrator is a person quali�ed by education , training or work experience who is employed or retained by a lawyer , law of�ce , corporation , governmental agency , or other entity and who is responsible for law of�ce management , communications process , law of�ce billing and law library management . Law of�ce administrators are not authorized to practice law . The Law Of�ce Administration Certi�cate does not prepare students to work as paralegals and is not an ABA-approved Paralegal education program . Students wishing to be employed as Paralegals must complete the Legal Studies / Paralegal Associate Degree 101101 or Legal Studies / Paralegal Post-Baccalaureate Technical Diploma 311101 .

10-110-175 LEGAL COMPUTER APPLICATIONS ... exploration of technology used in a law of�ce ; e-�ling and electronic courtrooms ; apply Microsoft Of�ce Suite features to create law of�ce documents ; use legal specialty applications software for calendaring and docketing , timekeeping and billing , case / matter management ; ethical issues and the paralegal ' s role with respect to technology in a law of�ce .
