From the NWHA President
The annual meeting planning is currently underway – and I’m excited to once again
bring together our membership from across the country. We will host the annual
judges clinic, annual membership meeting and of course our exciting awards
banquet on January 28, 2017. Please look for more information in this newsletter
and start planning the trip to Nashville for the 2017 meeting – it is sure to be a great
time!
We will also host our annual BOD retreat prior to the annual meeting. As a board,
we take the time to meet in person to strategize and plan the upcoming year. It is
a crucial time for us to update our goals, set key priorities and review and discuss
areas for improvement, opportunity and expansion. Please make sure you reach out
to your Regional Directors with comments, thoughts and suggestions so they may
represent each of you even better throughout our discussions.
Also make sure you keep your eyes peeled for the official BOD ballots to fill your
mailboxes in the next few weeks and place your votes for the 2017 board of director
positions. Your vote and voice matter.
Soon the holiday season will be upon us, and I want to wish you and your family
a safe and wonderful holiday season. It is a great time to unwind and spend some
quality time with your loved ones.
