Day 1 Conwy to Holyhead 13 July
44 miles: 7 hours 28 minutes
Leaving Conwy the first part of the sail to Holyhead was into a WNW headwind and
we had to motor up to Cemaes through some fairly choppy conditions. Once we
turned South towards Holyhead however we were able to hoist our sails for a pleasant sail down into Holyhead.

Day 2 Weather-bound
Although we had arranged to cross
over to Dun Laoghaire on this day
the weather was not suitable and
we spent the day in Holyhead making sure the boats were ready for
the forthcoming trip.
