Enrolment
The minimum age of entry to nursery is three years old, however we do have provision for strong start
2’s if you meet the eligibility criteria. More information can be found at

Nursery Hours
Morning sessions
Monday to Friday
8.45am – 11.57am
All children should arrive for nursery between 8.45 and 9.00am and can be collected from 11.47am. All
children attending morning session should be collected by 11.57am.
Afternoon sessions
Monday to Friday
11.57am – 3.09pm
All children should arrive for nursery between 11.57am and 12.15pm. All children attending full day
and afternoon sessions must be collected by 3.09pm. Doors open for collection from 3pm.
Access to Nursery
There is a dedicated entrance for nursery pupils, parents and carers between the primary. Parents are
required to press the buzzer on the secure door entry system or doorbell to alert staff and gain access
to the nursery if the door is not currently held open by staff. The nursery has a designated route for
collection of children at the end of the morning session to minimize the disturbance to school classes
through the nursery playground. A member of staff will open this when it is time to dismiss children.
The afternoon session on arrival enters the nursery via the main entrance and collects via the same
entrance. Please do not attempt to gain access via the playground when morning children are
dismissing. We need to know your child has made it safely to nursery and is registered in the building.
