Without much thought, I enrolled in the civic welfare training service of the NSTP program. I have been set on taking up CWTS since my first year and nothing changed that even when the time to decide came.

I expected nothing but fieldworks and community service in this program. However, I was proven wrong during the first semester. Contrary to what I expected, there were no fieldworks at all. Nothing. No service rendered for any community.

During the second semester though, I felt that satisfaction brought by serving other communities. We were given the chance to help in small ways. Others might think that everything was just nuisance. What they don’t realize is that those little efforts that we were asked for would affect a lot of people. We might not be able to see the effects of our efforts but I know that we did something that would be appreciated.

SMALL EFFORTS MATTER
