Little things can make

a big difference

NTSP program opened my eyes with the problems that our country has. These little problems may seem irrelevant but these are the causes of the enormous problem that we are facing. NTSP calls out young people to make a move. We are encouraged to take a stand and be of use to others. It is not enough to observe and give opinions regarding our country’s problem. We must give time to volunteer for others.

For the first semester of this course, we were thought and enlightened by the major problems that we must be aware of. First aid and basic life support was thought to us in cases of emergencies. There were different modules to help us know what is the situation that requires immediate attention.

With all the information thought to us we were now allowed to see reality; be an instrument of help to those who are in need. We then went to nueva ecija to build a classroom for the provincial students.

Schools are not abundant in provinces and I think it is a great way to help our fellow Filipinos in progressing by giving them education.

All our hard work was worth it because we all know it would be used by a lot of children who needs proper classroom environment in order for them to focus in their studies. It will provide them the opportunity to study and become what they dream to be. And eventually when they mature they will do the same thing with other people, they will also help their fellow citizens.

Our work may look insignificant, but these little actions can make a big change. If only all of us would help for the common good and lessen our selfishness, our world would be in a better place. But in reality these kinds of problems are inevitable, therefore we can only help by preventing ourselves in contributing with the destructions that we humans do and have the initiative to take actions and make a change.
