clients arrive

before clients arrive

Educational Materials

All recipes utilized for the Food 4 Health program can be found online via NTFB’s Nutritious Recipe Library. Additional healthy recipes can also be found at www.CookingMatters.org, www.ChooseMyPlate.gov, and www.HungerandHealth.org.

All MyPlate 10 Tips Handouts that were utilized can be found online at www.ChooseMyPlate.gov in addition to other nutritious resources.

All health focused cooking incentives (i.e. strainers, tongs, cutting boards) and bonus food items (spices, olive oil, healthy snacks) were purchased from local grocery stores and all cost less than $4.00-$5.00 per unit.

Remember that the NTFB Nutrition Services Team is still a resource for your nutrition education needs. We can host nutrition workshops, cooking demos, cooking classes, provide handouts, and incentives to accompany any programming that you offer.
