Supplemental Food Assistance Resources

NTFB Resources

The NTFB's Social Services Assistance Team can help food insecure clients apply for SNAP, Medicaid, TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families), and find additional community resources to aid in offering clients financial and additional food assistance.

Clients can receive assistance over the phone or in-person at our Dallas office or by coming to a local community agency where our SSA coordinators are located.

To speak to or schedule an appointment with a Social Services Assistance team member to discuss available benefits, clients can email [email protected], or call 214-269-0906. Clients can also request support by filling out the form found here.

If you desire to have an SSA team member come out to your agency to provide in-person application assistance, please email [email protected].

Additionally, clients and agencies can locate a nearby food pantry or additional resources in the North Texas area by utilizing NTFB’s searchable agency map, https://www.ntfb.org/agencies.

The NTFB’s Mobile Pantry program is a traveling pantry that delivers nutritious food, including fresh produce and refrigerated items, directly to communities with high need.

The program works with community organizations serving in high-need areas to provide or improve access to fresh, perishable and other healthy grocery products in areas where local agencies have limited or no capacity for refrigeration and/or freezer storage. Through Mobile Pantry, participating households receive up to 50 pounds of food per visit.
