Age : 16 and Up Min / Max : 6 / 15 Location : Northfield Community Center ( February 21 - March 21 )
New Trier High School , Winnetka ( March 28 - May 16 )
Gator Track & Field trains athletes for competitive meets . Athletes will learn the proper skills to compete in various running and field events . During the first week of the program , athletes will go through a Skills Assessment Test to determine participation in the program for the remainder of the season and gain eligibility for Special Olympics Illinois competitions .
Save the date ! The Special Olympics North Spring Games will be held on Saturday , April 15 and Sunday , April 16 . The date of the NISRA track meet is TBD .

Athletes are expected to compete in Special Recreation Association ( SRA ) and Special Olympics events and must register for competitions . NSSRA will distribute registration forms at the program .
For those who qualify , the Special Olympics Illinois State Summer Games are from Friday , June 9 - Sunday , June 11 , 2023 . NSSRA will offer additional practices on May 30 and June 6 to athletes who qualify for state .
