BUS-ALT BROADWAY BOUND

Age : 16 and up Min / Max : 6 / 12 Location : Northbrook Leisure Center
Lights , camera , action ! Do you crave the drama and excitement of Broadway ? Then join your fellow starlets in practicing Broadway showstoppers , learning theatre etiquette , and enhancing your performance skills . Participants will rehearse lines , scenes , and musical numbers from a Broadway production each session . Participants will also explore character development , set and costume design , and more ! The season will conclude with a showcase on the last day of the program , which family and friends are invited to attend .
Goals :
s Develop confidence while performing . s Increase ability to follow a script and stage direction .
s Explore self-expression through movements , dialogue , and performance .

Bright Star Theatre Performance

This year ’ s production will be “ Alice in Wonderland ”!
Follow Alice along in her curious adventures with the White Rabbit , Cheshire Cat , and the Queen of Hearts .
Performances will take place Saturday , April 15 at 6:00 pm and Sunday , April 16 at 1:00 pm at the Northbrook Leisure Center .
