Gator Powerlifting This program is designed for athletes to learn the skills and techniques required to powerlift competitively. Athletes may be eligible to compete in the Special Olympics Powerlifting Competition. All athletes must have a valid Special Olympics Application for Participation on file to participate. Save the dates! The Special Olympics District Tournament is Sunday, April 15, and for those who qualify, the Special Olympics Illinois State Summer Games are Friday, June 15 - Sunday, June 17. No program April 15 and May 28. Goals: Increase knowledge of powerlifting techniques. Improve strength and maintain a fitness log.
