Gator Bowling
This program is designed for competitive bowlers. Athletes will focus on techniques to improve their bowling skills
for competition. During the first week of program, athletes will go through a Skills Assessment Test to determine
participation in the program for the remainder of the season, as well as to gain eligibility for Special Olympics Illinois
competitions. Athletes must have a current Special Olympics Medical Application for Participation on file.
Athletes enrolled for the summer Gator Bowling season are expected to compete in the Special Olympics bowling competition on Saturday,
June 15. Athletes must register for competition by completing registration forms sent home prior to the summer season. Fees include two
games of bowling and shoe rental. No program July 3.
Note: This programs begins one week before the traditional program season begins.
Goals: Increase bowling average. Learn competitive skills such as aiming, ball stance and approach. Improve balance.

Culinary Creators
Grab your apron and your chef hat! Time to channel your inner chef and see what creations will come! We will learn about kitchen safety and how to follow
recipes. Get ready to measure, slice, mix and cook up some healthy dishes. We will make our own recipe book over the course of the season so you can take
home your favorite culinary masterpieces. This program will end three weeks early on July 18. No program July 4.
Goals: Increase kitchen safety. Learn basic cooking skills. Practice healthy eating.
