Private Piano Lessons

Do you want to learn how to play the piano? This program offers thirty minutes of individual lessons developed by a music therapist on the piano( piano will be on-site). No skills are necessary to sign up for this program; the instruction will be developed based on needs and skill level. Everyone is welcome! Returning participants have priority registration through 5:00 pm on Friday, May 5 for their same time slot from the previous season. All other registrations will be accepted and reviewed after Friday, May 5. You are welcome to state a time preference, however, no slots are guaranteed. You will be notified of your assigned half-hour time slot prior to the start of program. A guardian will need to stay on-site during the lesson. No program July 4. Goals: Develop an understanding and appreciation of music. Increase ability to follow instructions. Promote development of fine motor skills required to play an instrument.

Buddy Baseball

Grab your mitt and join your friends as we pair with our buddies for a game of America’ s favorite pastime. Every week we will gear up and hit the field as we challenge our friends to an exciting game of baseball! We will warm up with our team, practice, and play a friendly game of baseball. Note: Buddy Baseball is not a competitive sport program. Participants should bring a labeled mitt each week. No program July 4.
Goals: Develop skills and an understanding of baseball. Foster social interaction and teamwork.

Buddies: We Need You!

We are looking for volunteers ages 10 – 17 ready to share in the fun and excitement that is Buddy Baseball. As a buddy, you will be paired with an athlete with special needs as he or she learns to play baseball! Help us create a program where everyone can have fun and experience baseball in an exciting and successful atmosphere. While there is no fee for buddies, you must register to be a buddy. No program July 4.
Buddies will meet on Tuesday, June 13, the week before program, for orientation. Buddies will learn about participants and receive program details.
