Traveling Tourists
Tour Chicagoland’s hot spots as you enjoy an afternoon of social interaction with your peers. You will visit new destinations each week and indulge in lunch
out on the town (Please bring $15 - $20 to cover the cost of lunch each week). Sign up for all outings or just the ones that interest you. Each outing
has a separate transportation and program fee. A valid state-issued I.D. verifying your age as 21 or older is required each week. If you register for
transportation, NSSRA will pick you up at home and drop you off after program.
Goals: Enhance socialization with peers. Increase awareness of community leisure skills. Improve money management skills.

Let's head on over to a local favorite, Pinstripes! Grab some friends and play a few
friendly games of bocce. Improve your skills, socialize with friends and then enjoy a
delicious meal at Pinstripes Bistro. Program fee include two hours of bocce. Please
bring money for lunch.
Time to show off your swing! Whether you are a golf pro or this is your first time on a
driving range, let's give it a try! No experience is necessary. First we'll grab lunch at the
in-house restaurant, and then grab our clubs and get going! After we are all golfed out,
we'll swing over to a local ice cream shop for a sweet treat. Program fee includes the
cost of golfing and ice cream. Please bring money for lunch.

Did you know the Waukegan Dunes are some of the only natural sand dunes left in

the area? Did you know Waukegan is a known "birding hot spot"? Join us as we head
over to Waukegan and meet up with the Sharing Our Shore group to learn more about
the amazing natural wonders in our neighborhood. We will learn lots about the dunes,
the native birds and how it all impacts our lives. Afterwards, we'll create a journal to
document what we observe on our tour of the dunes! Once we've seen it all, we will
grab lunch nearby. Program fee includes tour and cost of journal supplies. Please

Grab your friends and let's visit over 300 animals over at Lambs Farm Farmyard! Each
with their own names, personalities and stories, the Farmyard proudly houses rescue
and senior animals. We will get the amazing chance to feed some of these animals!
Afterwards, let's grab a bite to eat at the Magnolia Cafe & Bakery. If there's any time left
in the day, we will head on over and do some shopping at the Lambs Farm stores. You
don't want to miss out! Program fee includes admission. Please bring money for
