Adult Programs Traveling Tourists Tour Chicagoland’s hot spots as you enjoy an afternoon of social interaction with your peers. You will visit new destinations each week and indulge in lunch out on the town (Please bring $15 - $20 to cover the cost of lunch each week). Sign up for all outings or just the ones that interest you. Each outing has a separate transportation and program fee. A valid state-issued I.D. verifying your age as 21 or older is required each week. If you register for transportation, NSSRA will pick you up at home and drop you off after program. Whether you are a golf pro or this is your first time on the driving range, let's give it a try! No experience is necessary. First, we'll eat lunch at Top Golf's in-house restaurant, and then grab our clubs and get going! After we are all golfed out, we'll swing over to a local ice cream shop for a sweet treat. Program fee includes the cost of golfing and ice cream. Please bring money for lunch. Grab some friends and join us as we take a tour of one of the largest museums in the world! Travel through history as we walk the exhibits. Become besties with Sue, the largest and best preserved T-rex discovered! Or bask in the vastness of the largest dinosaur ever found, Maximo! Program fee includes admission to the museum. Please bring money for lunch and souvenirs. A valid sate-issued I.D. verifying you are an Illinois resident is required. Paint your own pottery? Count us in! First, we'll grab lunch at Egg Harbor Café and then let's head over to the pottery studio. We'll each get to choose a piece of pottery to paint, and have hands-on help from Thrown Elements staff, teaching us a variety of painting techniques to use on our masterpieces! Pottery will be kiln-fired and be available the following week through program or at NSSRA's office. Program fee includes the cost of pottery and painting techniques class. Please bring money for lunch. Lions, tigers, bears, oh my! Join us as we spend the day visiting with amazing animals from around the world.
