Private Piano Lessons

Do you want to learn how to play the piano? This program offers thirty minutes of individual lessons developed by a music therapist on the piano( piano will be on-site). No skills are necessary to sign up for this program; the instruction will be developed based on needs and skill level. Everyone is welcome! Returning participants have priority registration through 5:00 pm on Friday, February 10 for their same time slot from the previous season. All other registrations will be accepted and reviewed after February 10. You are welcome to state a time preference, however, no slots are guaranteed. You will be notified of your assigned half-hour time slot prior to the start of program. A guardian will need to stay on-site during the lesson. No program April 11. Goals: Develop an understanding and appreciation of music. Increase ability to follow instructions. Promote development of fine motor skills required to play an instrument.

Buddy Soccer

Get ready to join the team as we head to the gym for a friendly game of soccer! Each week, we will pair up with our buddy to learn skills and challenge our friends to an exciting game. We will warm up with our team, practice, learn new skills, or play a game. Note: Buddy Soccer is not a competitive program. Athletes should come dressed in athletic clothing and gym shoes. No program April 11.
Goals: Develop introductory soccer skills including dribbling, passing, and scoring, as well as an understanding of the game. Improve social interaction and teamwork.

Buddies: We Need You!

We are looking for volunteers ages 10 – 17 ready to share in the fun and excitement that is Buddy Soccer. As a buddy, you will be paired with an athlete with special needs as he or she learns to play soccer. Help us create a program where everyone can have fun and experience soccer in an exciting and successful atmosphere. While there is no fee for buddies, you must register to be a buddy. No program April 11.
Buddies will meet on Tuesday, March 21, the week before program, for orientation. Buddies will learn about participants and receive program details.
