Registration Deadline: Friday, May 12 Acka Lacka Ching! NSSRA once again will fly to Camp Wigwam on Bear Lake in Waterford, Maine. This camp offers exciting opportunities for swimming, watersports, hiking and singing around the campfire, just to get started. The camp is accredited by the American Camping Association, and NSSRA has been taking groups to Maine for almost FORTY years! Camp Wigwam is an unforgettable experience and a great opportunity to make new memories and friends!

New participants must attend an NSSRA overnight trip prior to the registration deadline for Camp Wigwam so NSSRA can assess the individual’ s readiness for this trip. There will also be a mandatory meeting for new participants a week before the trip. Please note that participants will be in single beds and sharing cabins with peers. If you want your own cabin, please contact Jerod Mikkelsen to make arrangements by the registration deadline. An additional fee may be charged for these arrangements. A trip waiver and information packet will be sent out after the registration deadline and should be returned no later than Wednesday, August 9. Participants must be able to perform daily living skills, follow scheduled activities and function at a 1:4 staff to participant ratio. This program may require participants to walk from place to place. It is not recommended that you register if you tire easily when walking. Fee includes transportation, meals, accommodation, and a wide variety of activities.
