In & Around NSRCC FAQ on New Membership Cards With effect from September 1, the Club will cease the use of NRIC numbers as the NSRCC membership ID, and will be replacing it with a unique membership number. This is in compliance with the enhanced Personal Data Protection Act and also to strenghten the security of our members’ personal information. The Club also took the opportunity to refresh the design of the card to offer our members a brand new look! The Club has implemented the change of cards in batches starting from August, and members would have received the new cards reflecting the numbers through the mail before September 1. If you have not received the new card, members may contact our Membership Department at 65408555 or email [email protected] for further assistance. FAQ Who will be affected? All existing members with active membership terms will be affected and will be issued with a new membership card reflecting the new membership number. How will it affect me and what do I need to do? Value stored in card (Driving Range) If you have credits remaining in your old membership card, please bring along both your old and new cards to the Driving Range office after Sep 1 for the transfer of credits. Booking of facilities (Golfing & Social) All facilities bookings made before Sep 1 using the old membership ID i.e. NRIC will be ported over and updated automatically by the system to the new ID. No action is required by the members Handicap registered with CHS Updates of the new membership ID with Singapore Golf Association’s Centralised Handicap System (CHS) will be seamless, as the Club will perform a one-time update by the system. No action is required by the members How will it affect my online User ID and Password login? The existing online user ID i.e. NRIC will be replaced with the new membership ID comes Sep 1. There will be no change to the members’ password. What should I do if I do not receive my new card by Sep 1?
